George Washington Moeckly

George Washington Moeckly was the youngest son of Johannes Ulrich Möckli and Frederica Huglin Moeckly. He was born on the farm near Crocker, Iowa on 14 January 1868 and died on his farm near Crocker, Iowa on 11 June 1916. George married Flora Dell Horner in 1889 and their first child Frederick Ezra Moeckly was born on 7 July 1890. This photo of George and Flora with son Frederick was taken about 1890. They had six other children, Robert George Moeckly (1891-1943), Frederica Elizabeth Moeckly (1893-1954), Floyd Joy Moeckly (1894-1965), Goldie Beatrice Moeckly (1900-1985), Harold Clyde Moeckly (1902-1939), George Amos Moeckly (1906-1981) and Raymond Eldon Moeckly (1908-1924).
