Frederick Ezra Moeckly

My grandfather, Frederick Ezra Moeckly (1890-1920), married my grandmother, Iowa Blanche Moeckly (1890-1978), on 4 September 1912 and had three children. This picture of the young family was taken in about 1915 and includes my father, Clyde Frederick Moeckly (1915-1963), on his father’s knee and Louise Beatrice Moeckly (1913-1986) next to her mother. Their youngest child, Edith Mary Moeckly Wempen, born in 1918 is not shown in the picture. Frederick died when Edith was about 16 months old. Edith passed away in September 2005 and is survived by her husband Harry Wempen.
