Harold Clyde Moeckly

Harold Clyde Moeckly was the sixth of eight children born to George Washington Moeckly and Flora Dell Horner (1872-1927). Harold was born on 07 May 1902 and died on 27 October 1939. Harold was one of many that died in 1939 during an outbreak of “infantile paralysis” or poliomyelitis. Harold was a practicing attorney in Des Moines, Iowa. Harold married Lucille Elizabeth Lentz (1904-1970) in Ankeny, Polk County, Iowa on 27 June 1928. They are shown here in their wedding picture supplied by their son Raymond Moeckly (1936- ) of Nevada, Iowa.
