Robert Harold Moeckly

Robert Moeckly was born on April 27, 1946 and lives in St. Helena, CA in the heart of the Napa Valley. He holds a degree in Enology and Viticulture from the University of California at Davis. He has been studying and collecting Moeckly family history since 1958. He is shown here sitting next to the Möckli family Wappen located in the Rössli in the village of Marthalen. The picture was taken in May, 1996 during the first meeting of the Moeckly family from the United States with Möckli family of Radhof, Switzerland since 1852. Robert made contact with Karl Möckli who still lives in the ancestral home in Radhof. The picture was taken on the occasion of a dinner hosted by Karl Möckli to honor the occasion of the visit of Robert, his brother Frederick Moeckly, his sister Eileen Moeckly Fardanesh and his brother in law Jalil Fardanesh.
